Caroline Donaldson is well-known leader within the travel industry with almost three decades of experience – with the last 20 years spent with the Barrhead Travel Group.

After joining Barrhead Travel as a part-time longhaul consultant in 2003, Caroline grew in step with the business, progressing to longhaul manager before taking up the position as Business Development Manager in 2007. She fostered many new relationships with travel suppliers, playing a key role in positioning Barrhead Travel as Scotland’s leading independent travel agency group.

Following her appointment to Product and Commercial Director in 2019, Caroline now oversees commercial agreements, product development and business development for all areas of the Barrhead Travel Group business.

Caroline has since been responsible for the acceleration of the group’s growing product portfolio, most recently launching a Touring & Adventure division in 2023, followed by a US division in 2024.
