Mark Walter is the Director of Sales for the UK and Ireland at HX Hurtigruten Expeditions, bringing more than 40 years of experience in the UK travel industry. Throughout his career, he has held senior sales leadership roles at Royal Caribbean, Cruiseco, and Norwegian Cruise Line, where he built and led high-performing teams across the cruise sector.

In 2016, Mark joined the Hurtigruten Group, where he has played a pivotal role in driving sales growth and strengthening partnerships within the UK and Irish markets. Since 2024, he has led sales exclusively under the newly rebranded HX Hurtigruten Expeditions, managing a dedicated team and spearheading initiatives to expand the company’s ever-growing presence in expedition cruising.
