Florian Valmy-Devillers

Florian Valmy-Devillers is a trilingual tourism strategist with more than a decade of experience at the
forefront of international affairs, advising governments, leading high-profile campaigns, and
developing partnerships that drive destination growth.
Since 2022, he has served as Director of the Caribbean Tourism Organisation for the United Kingdom,
Europe and Emerging Markets, representing the organisation across these territories, while also
leading FVD International, a London-based consultancy focused on international development. His
work has taken him from ministerial activations at the European Commission to global forums with
heads of government, industry leaders and leading media across five continents.
Florian also lectures in Tourism Strategies and Crisis Communication at the University of Lille and
serves as an annual guest lecturer at the University of the West Indies, bringing frontline industry
insight into master’s level education.
Over the past decade, Florian has led high-level projects across five continents, from ministerial
activations at the European Commission to international forums bringing together governments,
tourism leaders, and global media. He also shares his expertise as a part-time lecturer at Master’s
level, teaching Digital Marketing and Crisis Communication. Florian sits on the Advisory Board of the
Black Travel Summit.
His ultimate ambition is to contribute to shaping a blueprint for a more sustainable, inclusive, and
equitable future through travel and tourism.
